All-new Peugeot 301 Sedan Pictures and Details

Targeted at emerging global markets, the all-new, budget-oriented Peugeot 301 Sedan incorporates the brand’s latest design cues and was designed to be “best in class” in several key areas.

The 301 sedan was developed for all conditions — hot countries, cold countries and poor roads. With an overall length of 4.44 metres (4,440 mm), it offers class-leading rear occupant space and boot volume. It is available with a wide range of safety equipment, including ESP, ABS, up to four airbags, emergency braking assistance, ISOFIX and more.

The engine range, consisting of both petrol and diesel units, includes the following:

• 1.2 l VTi 52 kW (71 bhp) (1) with manual or EGC (electronic gearbox control)
• 1.6 l HDi 68 kW (92 bhp) with manual gearbox
• 1.6 l VTi 85 kW (115 bhp) with manual or automatic gearbox

Manufactured in Vigo, Spain, the Peugeot 301 will make its world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September before it goes on sale in selected countries in November.
